Alanto Insecticide containing Thiacloprid is a member of the chemical class of neonicotinoid insecticides.
Alanto technical name - Thiacloprid 21.7% SC

Alanto, due to its rain-fastness property, is stable even under conditions of heavy rains and sunlight providing longer persistence.

Mode of Entry: Systemic with contact and stomach poison
Mode of Action: Thiacloprid is antagonist to the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor in the central nervous system. It disturbs the proper signal transmission system leading to excitation of nerve cells. Consequently, a disorder of the nervous system occurs leading finally to the death of the target pests.
