Alanto Insecticide Technical Details
Technical Content: Thiacloprid 21.7% SC
Mode of Entry: Systemic with contact and stomach poison
Mode of Action: Thiacloprid is antagonist to the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor in the central nervous system. It disturbs the proper signal transmission system leading to excitation of nerve cells. Consequently, a disorder of the nervous system occurs leading finally to the death of the target pests.
Key Features & Benefits
Due to its relative stability to rain-water and sunlight, Alanto remains on the leaf's surface after application for a considerable time, thus allowing a continuous penetration of the active ingredient into the leaf.
Alanto covers a broad range of targeted pests, viz., aphids, whiteflies, thrips, and lepidopterans.
Alanto Insecticide acts as an acute contact and stomach poison, exhibits systemic activity added with translaminar activity and residual effect.
No cross resistance to conventional insecticides, with fast degradation in the environment.
Alanto shows a low acute mammalian toxicity, due to relatively low rates of application, excellent plant compatibility and a favorable eco-toxicological profile.
